Business Analyst- Aetna Health Insurance and CVS Pharmacy

Jan 2022-Present

  • Tracking project update for multiple projects by tracing down RTC use stories, leading grooming sessions for the respective sprints in a SAFe Agile team of 8 as a Product Owner for two scrum teams.

  • Decreased the project timelines by 21% by brainstorming new ideas for project completion in release-sprint retrospection meetings.

  • Monitoring complex projects as a Lead Business Analyst, discovering the core problem of production issues, and designing modifications, reporting, and defining business requirements for stakeholders and internal teams.

  • Leading requirement gathering sessions and translating business functions and processes by collaborating with functional teams and project stakeholders and acting as a liaison between clients and technical project team.

  • Wrote behaviour-driven development (BDD) requirements for technical requirements that covers technical gap and documented source to target mapping (STTM) for multiple API’s used for the product.

  • Created requirement traceability matrix, determining operational objectives by studying business functions, constructing workflow charts in Visio and Miro, and studying system capabilities and writing specifications.

  • Acted as a liaison between the business team and stakeholders and developed functional and business requirement documents (BRS and FRS), use case diagrams and user stories.

  • Analyzed a health care client’s large descriptive census data and applied statistical modelling techniques such as Linear regression, decision trees and hypothetical testing forecasting deliverable milestones and submitted the documentation in data analysis forms and data mapping files.

  • Developed advanced SQL queries and stored procedures to generate data reports for test data.

  • Successfully reported 88% of maintenance bugs with ad-hoc metrics and actionable solutions to adjust plans.
